How a Live Roulette Simulation Works

European and French roulette have 37 pockets and a 2.70% house edge. American roulette has 38 pockets and a 5.26% house edge. The simulator uses these constants directly. How to Read the Spin History
The spin history table records every spin, the pocket that hit, the color of that pocket, the bet placed before the spin, whether the spin was a win or loss, the profit or loss in dollars and the resulting bankroll. It is the most useful place to study how a strategy behaves in detail. Open the table during or after a run, look for the longest losing streak in the W/L column, then trace the bet size to see how fast the required stake grew during that streak.
Why Expected Loss Still Matters
The simulator finishes each run with an expected loss figure computed as total wagered multiplied by the house edge of the chosen wheel. That number is the average loss the wheel is designed to produce over the volume you wagered, regardless of which betting system you used. If your run finished above the expected loss line you got lucky. If it finished below, variance worked against you. Across many runs the average net result moves toward the expected loss because the house edge is built into the wheel.
What Multiple Simulations Reveal
Single sessions are noisy. Multiple simulations smooth out variance and show the underlying behavior of a strategy. Raise the simulations field to ten, twenty five or fifty and you will see that Martingale produces many small winners and a few catastrophic losers, while flat betting clusters tightly around its expected loss line. Comparing the spread of outcomes for two strategies is more informative than comparing any single result, because it captures the real character of each system.

Set the base bet, bankroll, spins, wheel and target to the same values for each strategy you want to compare, then change only the strategy preset between runs. Look at total wagered, max drawdown, longest losing streak and bust rate rather than just net result.
