How Bankroll Works in Martingale Roulette

Each losing step doubles the required bet, so surviving a streak of length n means having enough to cover every bet from the base unit up to the nth doubling. Your bankroll is essentially a countdown of how many doublings you can afford. Once it runs out, the next recovery bet cannot be placed and the open loss is locked in.

Why More Bankroll Does Not Remove Risk

A bigger bankroll buys more doubling steps, but every extra step is exponentially more expensive and only protects against streaks you were already unlikely to hit in a short session. Meanwhile the house edge quietly taxes every bet you place. Deeper bankroll shifts the failure point outward; it never removes the negative expected value, and it does nothing to lower the risk of ruin to zero.
